Great stuff. I'm not a fan of King myself but I admire how he goes about it. Not won him any fans in the literary world of course. He makes it look easy. Or rather, he reminds them it requires effort.
Great examination of the craft of writing as exemplified by Stephen King. And it is a craft which demonstrates his discipline: getting up early, following his routine every day etc. I have outgrown his writing but I have to still admire his skill as a storyteller. I always thought King was better than Koontz, whose writing I found kind of boring and formulaic after the first couple of books.

Lots of good information here. I am writing my first fiction novel, I needed these reminders and
lessons.
